What's been going on?

Ok, Yeah, I know, long time no update. Been back in the States since June working at Lucasfilm Animation on a feature and been too busy. Still too busy. Stay tuned, and checkout my work from “Rapunzel Unbraided” on the Works page. Now that Tangled has been released I can finally share some work I did on a previous incarnation of the film. This reel is a portion of the work I did under the direction of Glen Keane at Disney to pre-visualize some of the scenes for the film. Disney had never used previz for animation, so it was a bit of a learning process. I decided that since my work would need to intercut with the hand drawn storyboards in the storyreel that I would use drawings on cards in 3d, which worked out nicely. It was a pity that Unbraided was abandoned, but I think Tangled turned out wonderfully.
